LIBRARIANWELCOME SPEECH

Welcome to the Adekunle Ajasin University Library, the academic nerve centre and heartbeat of the University.
The Library, as is well known the world over , is the hub of every University, saddled with the responsibility of providing information resources (books, journals, electronic materials, etc) to support teaching, research and community service activities that constitute the raison d’etre of Universities.
The Library currently has a sitting capacity for about 1,200 readers, holds about 50,000 volumes of books and subscribes to over 250 foreign and local journals. All of these physical resources are complemented with a host of subscription-based and open access electronic resources. Our operations are fully automated using Strategic Library Automation and Management (SLAM).
Our doors are always open to requests, suggestions or ideas on how to serve our users better. Please do not hesitate to contact us on any of our communication channels.
Thank you for deciding to visit us.
Dr. EGUNJOBI Rotimi Adesina
